Ending in the historical complex of Split with the Palace of Diocletian - UNESCO site from 1979... its mausoleum, that ironically become Saint Domnius Cathedral (St. Domnius was martyred in the persecutions of the Emperor Diocletian), will leave you breathless. . . the chambers of the palace, an endless labyrinths. . . narrow paved streets, sculptures, open market, fish market. . .
