Arrival Nairobi.
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, Kenya. After passing through customs, your driver guide will escort you to your hotel, Safari Park Hotel. Overnight: Safari Park Hotel. Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast.
Nairobi – Sweetwaters Game Ranch.
After breakfast, depart for Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary. Morning drive past Thika, an industrial town surrounded by extensive pineapple plantations, partially owned by Del Monte Company. After crossing the Tana River, source of Kenya’s hydroelectric power, the landscape changes to lush as you climb into the rich Kikuyu tribe farmlands.
Lunch at the camp. Afternoon visit to the rescued chimpanzees’ sanctuary, and game drive thereafter. The beautiful Sweetwaters Tented Camp lies in the heart of this privately owned 100,000 acre ranch with magnificent views across the wildlife - studded plains to the snowcapped peaks of Mount Kenya. Sweetwaters -Lake Nakuru National Park (Great Rift Valley)
Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, and arrive in time for lunch at the camp site. Relax briefly before departing for an afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingos and the over 400 species of birds found here. It is found on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The sight of millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance, the soda lake appears ringed in pink. The lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered animal species, particularly the Rothschild Giraffe, the Black Rhino and the White Rhino. Nakuru– Lake Naivasha (Great Rift Valley).
Breakfast at the lodge. Morning game drive on way out to Lake Naivasha region. We arrive in time for lunch at our camp site, and in the early afternoon, we take boat ride including a nature walk at Crescent Island is an excellent way to see wild animals on foot. The Island is a private game sanctuary, which is home to zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, vervet monkeys, hares, genet cats, waterbuck and giraffe. Or, you may wish to lounge by the pool admiring the view of zebras, Giraffes and waterbuck just outside the fence. Dinner and overnight: Camp site. Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner}
