We drive from the airport/ port / hotel in Izmir and drive southwards. You will enjoy the nice fertile agricultural araes on the way. The first priority of the day is the ancient site of Ephesus, where by walking through the ruins you would get an impression of how the daily life in the antiquity was. We see amongst others the impressive Celcus library and the great theatre of Ephesus. Depending on time and your priorities, you can include in the program The House of Virgin Mary, The Village of Sirince, as well as the Ceramics-Pottery Center and the Handicrafts Center for Carpets.
