Guanlin Temple

    Guanlin Temple locates at Guanlin Town, Luolong District, Luoyang City, it is the Nationwide Key Cultural Protection Unit, the 4A tourist attraction in Henan Province. 

    Guanlin Temple is actually where the graveyard of Guanyu is, Guanyu, one of the very famous person in Chinese history, he lived in Warrior stage, he was a warrior general.

    Guanlin Temple originally built in Ming Dynasty, and expanded in Qing Dynasty, it is an ancient building group under intact protection.

    In 2008, Guanlin Temple was identified as the National Intangible Cultural Heritage by Chinese Government.

    The Main buildings in Guanlin Temple are:  Main Gate, Etiquette Gate, Stone Lion Avenue, Main Palace, Second Palace, Third Palace, Graveyard of Guanyu, Inscription, Stone Mill, Octagonal Pavilion, Plazza.

    The best time to come here is in Summer, because Luoyang is in Temperate Continental Monsoon Climate.
