Guangzhou is located in the middle south of Guangdong, north of the Pearl River Delta. Situated in China’s subtropical area, the climate all the year is quite comfortable.

Guangzhou weather is generally warm and humid, featuring high temperature, abundant rainfall and sufficient sunshine. Guangzhou has a long summer with frequent thunderstorm. The highest temperature can reach 39 C (102 F), which makes tourists easy to suffer heat exhaustion. Winter in Guangzhou is short and with little frost. The all-year average temperature is 20 C – 22 C (68 F – 72 F), making Guangzhou an ideal destination for traveling.
