Chinese fast food is better than KFC and Mcds.

There is a family feel amongst the staff that is warm and welcoming. The downstairs is clean and bright. However, the upstairs dining area is even more attractive.They are expert in making faux meat dishes. The spicy "pork" was perfect after a long day of exploration in Beijing.

Dishes include beautifully delicate dim sum and vegetables wrapped in sheets of tofu, and even the juicy pork belly, often heavy on the stomach in other restaurants, is surprisingly light. 

The name is from a Richard Mason novel about a prostitute, but this Suzie Wong is wholly respectable and the most famous bar in Beijing.

There's great Italian food by a chef stolen from Annie's and a separate nonsmoking section -- almost

unheard-of in a Beijing bar.

The location was fantastic, among Beijing hutongs, very close to eating, drinking and shopping establishments. The hotel is small, very clean and tidy. The staff are very nice, helpful and friendly.
